This is a reasonably priced hotel/serviced apartment. It is located on a small sub-soi off busy Ekkamai road. Despite the very busy road it is very quiet at night and you can sleep uninterrupted. The hotel is 100% Covid compliant and a test is required to enter. The security is very good. There is parking on site and the hotel is wheel chair compatible. The rooms and premises are spotlessly clean. It is very convenient for families, who are readily welcomed, and the apartments have small kitchens with refrigerator, sink, dishes, small stovetop with ventilator, and an outdoor washing and drying area. The kitchen area has a door to keep the smell of cooking out of the room(s) and it also has a door to the washing area to allow fresh air. There is a shoe storage built in at the entry. The furnishings are up to date and very functional. The windows are double and the terrace door has a screen. The air-conditioning is more than sufficient and is quiet. There is a large screen smart television, small eating table and a desk work area. The beds are firm but not too hard. The bathrooms have a shower/tub, sink, and protected wall outlet. The water pressure is good and the water gets hot. This is a well run and very accomodating hotel/apartment. Highly recommended to all and especially families. Even though I saw young children, I did not hear them even one time. The building appears to be well constructed and is one of the few places that have smoke detectors. Highly recommended.

We've had the most wonderful 2-week stay at United Residence! The staff went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved that they offered complimentary water bottles every day and free coffee/tea downstairs in reception. The rooms are clean and spacious. We work while traveling, and the internet has been reliable. The one-bedroom apartment was perfect for working and relaxing. The aircon in both the living room and bedroom worked perfectly, and the shower water heater was hot with good pressure. Washing machine worked well too for laundry. We truly had everything we needed for our stay! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Bangkok!

First trip to Bangkok and the best place in my view to stay. Located in an upscale neighborhood and off the main road ensuring privacy and quiet. The rooms were sparkly clean, daily change of towels, and sheets along with cleaning. Washing machine in the room is a boon. Smoking is allowed in the balcony and on the terrace which gives you a nice view as well.

The best place to stay in Bangkok! We found this place by accident and will be back. Very helpful staff: we asked for pots, pans, rice cooker and they provided everything we requested. There is also a very friendly owner who really cares about cleanliness. Room cleaning took about 30-40 minutes, you can imagine how clean it is. There is also very good furniture and appliances. During our stay there (1 month) they upgraded the washing machine and TV even though the old things were good. The location is just amazing because it's not noisy.

This place is really good for the price we paid! You get your own little apartment, equipped with a washing machine (no detergent) , fridge, dinnerware, TV, and the sofa can be turned into an extra bed. There's aircon in the living room and bedroom. Drinking water and toilet paper is provided daily. There's a small balcony too. The place is really clean and away from the traffic noise, also near many eating places and cafes. I only put four stars because the bathroom is clean but could use a modern makeover and the mattress was a little too hard. Overall we had a great time making ourselves at home for 3 days. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Overall the experience and service was excellent and i wouldnt think twice before booking this hotel again when we come visit Bangkok.

"The receptionist Eak was very polite but communicating was hard due to the language barrier. Thanks however to Max as he was able to communicate well. We had some misunderstanding regarding the room rates (Trip.com didnt specify rates for additional persons) but it was all resolved. We stayed here for 5 nights. Getting Grab/taxi is not difficult. Just a couple minutes walk and you have restaurants, 711 and a pharmacy for you immediate needs. The room was very clean and pristine. It came with all the amenities as stated. And it was great that it came with a washing machine which we used everyday, and we didnt need to bring home a lot of dirty laundry. Overall the experience and service was excellent and i wouldnt think twice before booking this hotel again when we come visit Bangkok."

I stay in this hotel everytime when I’m in Bangkok. Most important it’s clean, very friendly staff, complete room with smart TV, washing machine, microwave and that all for a reasonable price (the price goes up every year tough). Great neighborhood with a lot of restaurants. It’s a bit far from the public transportations but it’s easy to get a taxi of the streets or get a 30bath motorbike to the bts.

"Staying at United Residence is great if you’re looking for an affordable spot that has 711, restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, massage places just a 5min walk away. As someone who does not like to carry dirty laundry in my bags, my FAVORITE thing was having a private washing machine in my room so I could wash anytime I needed. A few things I didn't enjoy include that the view from my room wasn't interesting (although I did book the cheapest room). Also, the gym requires you to get a key card at the reception every time which is not very convenient. The other thing missing is a pool to make the stay there perfect. All that to say, these were not significant issues. This place is great for you to relax, rest, watch movies, work, leave your things and go around the city, or even cook your own meals as it has a little kitchen and a table set with plates and utensils. It also has a quiet, nice balcony at the rooftop."

"Professional and service-minded stuff. My Studio was quite large and well equipped with no cooking facilities but 2 bottles of water for free every day and a small balcony. There was a washing-machine in the room but no drying program - u can do that on the balcony. The quality of the cleaning is excellent and in the bathroom you even get a toothbrush and a small tooth-paste. Very comfortable bed as well. Whats missing was a brush for keeping the toilet clean and the WiFi isn't secure. Specially for people traveling for business the latter is a must, specially when compared to all the other standards the place offers and this lets it somehow down. The place is quite far away from BTS but in a quiet Soy and I slept very well during my stay. Would always come back there - thanks to everyone!!"

Exceptional - Spacious,Clean and Excellent service

I stayed here for 7 months and I'm glad that I found this apartment. Here are the few points for the viewers to help identify a place to stay in Bangkok. 1/ Cleanliness is one of the USPs of the place and I was confident staying here during the COVID spike period. 2/ Reception, security and service persons carry a smile and go an extra mile to ensure you're comfortable. 3/ The owner of the apartment is very helpful and kind. He helped with medicines when I needed and ensured that I'm well taken care of. I always felt like home whe staying here. 4/ The apartment is a low-rise building and is not densely populated. This has a separate kitchen which is very rare to find in Bangkok. 5/ One bedrooms are corner facing and you would have two balconies at different directions, airy and sunny. 6/ 7-Elevens and restaurants are in abundance, however, the apartment is in a dead end lane and therefore is quiet. My gratitude to the team here, can't thank enough. I would highly recommend this apartment, specially for long stays.

Best experience ever!!

This is by far the greatest experience we've had staying at a hotel in Bangkok. My family was welcomed with such great hospitality. We definitely took advantage of the free coffee in the Lobby???? Strongly Recommended.

I was here for a week and enjoyed my stay to the max. The one bedroom was fully equiped with all you need. Spacious and super clean to the tee. Staff was extra helpful with all your needs. Very attentive to details. Location was very good as its accessible to all roads... Sukhumvit.. Pethcburi. Restaurants pubs coffee shops and convenience stores abundant in the area. Will be back. Strongly recommended.

Cozy, elegant, clean

Definitely the type of place I look for when I'm on trip. And definitely a place I feel to recommend for those ones coming to Bangkok for business or holiday. The room is clean, comfortable, cozy and elegant, while staff is absolutely focused on making your stay unforgettable. The area is near to many restaurants, coffee shops and hi-so clubs, meanwhile in only few minutes by motor taxi you can reach the skytrain which can bring you anywhere. I am very happy of this place, and will come again in the future.

We continue to be impressed - our home away from home!

We love United Residence! My wife and I have been coming to United since 2014. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen. Seeing familiar faces every time we're back always makes us feel warm and welcomed - it's our home away from home. What continues to impress is how well the premises are maintained. A lot of places build anew and deteriorate, while the staff at United continue to keep it well-functioning and clean. Recently Netflix was installed so no need to bring your own HDMI cable or Google Chrome - love it!

Amazing place

This is a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . This is our go-to place for five years in a row now it is consistently good. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and super clean. For the price you cannot beat it! Close taxi ride to Sukhumvit road where we do our shopping. The staff recommended a great coffee and breakfast place nearby. They’re recommendation was spot on. Location and SuperBrand

I was recommended to stay at Unitedresidence by a good friend of mine. Totally surprised by this hidden gem. Superb location..easily accessible to top notch restuarants and bars in Ekamai and Thonglor. Hopsitals like Bangkok General and Camillian very very nearby. Banks, pharmacies convenience stores like Big C and 711 all walking distance along with Health land Spa. Service and cleanliness was 5 star. Will definitely be back and strongly recommended.

Perfect place for long stay in Bangkok

Meet The Expectation

I was traveling with my partner on November and that was also my first trip to Thailand. I arrived hotel around 12:00 and the room was not ready yet because the check in time is at 14:00. I went to restaurant nearby to have some light meal first while waiting the room to be ready. The hotel itself was so clean. They had a complimentary tea, coffee, or mocca machine at the reception which was really good. Met the Manager upon check in and He is extremmely helpful. He told us that they had a problem with the lift but It was fixed on the second night of our stay. The room also so spacious for me. I'm a Guest Relation at One of 5 star Hotel in Bali and I felt like this was the right choice. The rate was much cheaper but We got the same valued room as 5 star hotel or even better. I don't want to make any such trouble for the hotel because I had handle so many guest with their own problem and I really don't want to be a part of them. Holiday means we need to enjoy even the wheater at that time was super hot.. I had a great memorable stay and Thank you for having us.

Kindness and clean

Very Clean and good fragrance in my room while i was staying. My bed and light was good condition and cozy. Microwave and washing machine are good . 2 minutes walking nearby 7/11. The manager was very nice gentleman. It was my good choice for 8 nights for resting in ekkamai and tongnor area.

Simply the best!!!

This place was home away from home. It's was in walking distance to eateries, banks, money exchanger, fruit stand. The staff were very accommodating.all the amenities of home. I felt very safe their just walking around day or night. I will stay their again on my next visit to bankok thailand.

First time I've stayed in a smaller hotel in Bangkok. Good experience - homely, comfortable and clean with very accommodating staff. Can be a bit of street noise being a smaller hotel, but location is good and plenty to do nearby.

Cozy Place in a Vibrant Neighborhood

Comfortable hotel with amazing staff - always greeted me with a smile on their face, and catered to all my whims and needs. The rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished. I opted for one of the bigger rooms and it was 50 sq. meters - bedroom, spacious living room with a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 balconies. The location is a little far from the skytrain station (not walking distance) and the street is very busy during rush hour so commuting to and from here might become a little challenging. However there is motorbike taxi stand nearby, which I regularly took to the skytrain. There's a 7/11 very close by as well, and lots of interesting restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend this Hotel for people who want a quiet, homely place with fantastic service and attentive management in one of the busiest cities in the World.

I received customer appreciation from United Residence Management Team!!!

I've lost count how many times i stayed in United Residence, If i am not wrong this was my 6th stay and as usual the homely feel with all the welcoming from all the staffs remembering me. This time round my bad as i done late booking, "One Bedroom Suite" - i always stayed" been sold out so having no choice I downgraded and booked "Studio Suite" for my 2 weeks stay of work and holidays. Upon arrival at the reception, greeted by usual courteous receptionist whom remembered me and i asked her if she surprised that i booked 2 weeks of "Studio Suite" instead of the usual "One Bedroom Suite"? She replied me saying, yes and that was exactly what she was wondering. I told her it was my bad i done the booking so late that "One Bedroom Suite" sold out so downgraded and booked "Studio Suite". She asked me if "One Bedroom Suite" is available, would i like to upgrade with additional room cost? I replied her "Yes, that would be very appreciating" and she told me she will inform her boss Mr. Ralph. The very next day I received a call from Mr. Ralph, he told me he managed to arrange "One Bedroom Suite" throughout my 2 weeks stay except in between the 2 weeks, 2 days i have to downgrade and move to "Studio Suite" then back to "One Bedroom Suite" again with additional room cost. I accepted his offer, greatly appreciated both their help and thanks them many times. During my 2 weeks stay, i received another surprise they took the kind gesture/thought of arranging both "One Bedroom Suite" and "Studio Suite" to be on the same floor so that during the days of upgrading and downgrading (changing rooms) would be easier for me. Deep heart felt of customer appreciation for everything both of them done for me, Kudos to both of them! I would like to thanks all staffs of United Residence always so courteous and helpful, also for their great work upkeep United Residence!

Pleasantly Surprised

I was there for 1 week, travelled solo to Ekkamai area for meetings in the area for work. This amazing boutique aparthotel is underpriced with superb hospitality and excellent location. It was very easy for me to move in and out of my place to get to Thonglor or Petchburi road without any hassles and motorbikes and taxis easily amd readily available. The place has been kept very clean and looks and feels cozy with a very modern and homely ambience. Strongly recommended

Lived here for about a year while I was working in Bangkok. Loved it! Stayed in both the Studio and One bedroom apartment. Studio - good for shorter trips - washing machine - cozy One bedroom - Good for long term rentals for singles and couples/small families for short trips - Sofa bed - washing machine - really spacious! Location is alright. A motorcycle taxi to Ekkamai/Thonglor BTS will only take you 4-6 mins depending on traffic. The Ekkamai and Thonglor area is full of hipster cafes and small retail stores. Raph (the boss) and his team were attentive and did everything to ensure that my stay there was good. Thank you Raph!

We booked the suite and we were very pleased with the amenities. The owner greeted us when we arrived and the service was very personalised. It is now my default hotel to stay in whenever i visit Bangkok. Will be back real soon!

Incredibly comfortable, clean and great location

I’ve stayed with United Residence a few times and I’m not usually one to review the hotels I stay in. However on this occasion I felt compelled to write a review. The staff’s attention to detail and care has exceeded our expectations, especially when travelling with a young daughter. The hotel is probably the cleanest, most comfortable hotel I’ve stayed in (and that’s saying something, as a frequent traveller to Bangkok) and is conveniently located next to Thong Lo, a short 5 minute taxi ride away. I’ll always be coming back here, simply because it has all the bells and whistles of a great hotel- perfect location, management and rooms.

Excellent stay

First want to say I am always surprised when an apartment is exactly the same as the pics , which this was ! Very nice clean and modern . Really comfy bed , sofa was so comfy L shaped with a nice plasma tv built swiftly into the wall . I met with the owner of the residence while walking out for lunch who ended up spending about 30 mins with me showing me around , and is a very nice person . The price is very affordable because it is not right next to the BTs , you will need to get motorbike taxi or taxi which take 5 mins and cost about 30 bhat , less than £1 . There are some nice cafes and restaurants near by to walk too . Best Dan

Good Place

A must stay when in bkk. Lots of good local food around and night life nearby just within a few minutes away. Stayed here all the bangkok trip I had all these years and will still be coming back. Highly recommended.

Hotel’s street location-wise situates in parallel to Thonglor’s street, chic & hip zone

United Residence is neatly elegance with very cosy plus truly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Luv it much during our consecutive stay. Staffs from gate entrance to lobby are very well attentive, prompt with pre-emptive helpful gestures. Overall, price-point vs accommodation services, happily worth it!!!

Clean rooms, excellent amenities

Room is 5mins cab away from the nearest clubs/bars and there are plenty of eateries nearby. Plus points to clean rooms and washing machine in the room itself. Very pleasant stay, will return for sure.

Cosy, great service, perfect for a family vacation

Went for a family vacation. Booked 3 rooms to accommodate 6 adults and a 2-year-old kid. Great service, clean rooms, and very helpful staff. There's a great noodle place just down the road in the nearby street (turn in after the 7 Eleven).

Home Away From Home

I stayed at the United Residences for two months from January 2019-February 2019 and it was an absolute delight. The staff are absolutely wonderful- very warm and welcoming and more than happy to do their best to help no matter the time of day or night. They all speak English fluently which is a definite advantage. The owner also is a wonderful chap, always available to customers and very accommodating of special requests. The location of the place is great- not one, but 2 7/11’s round the corner, a Max Value and Big C walking distance away, and plenty of restaurants and shops literally just outside the gates, including a well stocked pharmacy. I stayed in the studio room, which for its size was very well appointed- absolutely spic and span, it comes with a little pantry which includes a fridge, microwave, washing machine, electric kettle, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom comes with 2 sets of fluffy bath and hand towels and 2 bath mats, and the bed sheets smelled clean and fresh. There was also plenty of cupboard space, a digital locker, tv and an attached balcony as well. As it was in a lane away from the main road, it was also quite quiet and peaceful. They also offer breakfast in the mornings, which unfortunately although I never tried, was told was quite good. Travelling as a single woman I never felt a moments pause and was very happy with my stay here. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to enjoy this vibrant city- United Residences is located in the heart of all the action and has very competitive prices. Excellent experience will definitely be back!

Sooo comfy and clean

I really liked this place. Light, clean, cozy and functional. Everything what you prefer to use was available. The area is superb.... Many coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Easy access to the main road Sukhumvit and short cuts to other areas, such as Thonglor. We took the the local boat to the city that was only 7 min by taxi. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very relaxing place. I will definitely recommend this place to my relatives who are planning to come soon :-)

Amazing place!

We loved staying in this place. I stayed her with my husband and three children.It is very child friendly, the staff is very caring and friendly. The rooms are big enough for a family and I believe this place is very good value for money. We thought this Ekkamai/Thonglor area was great because of all the very nice restaurants and bars, easy to get a taxi and easy access to BTS. We really recommend staying here.

Cozy and comfortable

Our stay at United Residence Ekamai was very pleasant. The room was clean, homey and well furnished. The residence is located close to the chic area of Bangkok, there are many nice bars and restaurants around! Staff was very kind and helpful, we really recommend staying at United Residence Ekamai.

Its a very nice and well kept place. Clean and nicely decorated. The area ekamai is great, close to the bts and other transport options like buses, with many restaurants around for a cozy dinner or a drink.

Home away with excellent service

This is an apartment hotel and it is great. Gym and rooftop terrace. You will not miss bar or restaurant since there are plenty of good ones within 250 meters. My favourite is the local market, direction Pitchburi Rd. Clean room, very good bed, ample supply of things in the bathroom. Good desk to work at. Very friendly and supportive staff. You should come here if you like; - good service - good price quality mix - silent rooms - easy to access rest of town - to have the possibility so eat in room - want a little bit of extra space - be at the beaten track while not on it - covered parking included You should not come here if you want; - hotel bar This is my new home in Bangkok where I spend several weeks per year due to work. It will feel better going forward.

Great stay in bkk

Nice clean quiet rooms, friendly staff, located away from the main sukhumvit tourist belt as I wanted to be away from the maddening noise and hustle... Great location if you want to explore ekamai/thonglor neighbourhood with great local eats, coffee, interesting restaurants, etc... plus easy access to lad phrao and outer bkk... Met the owner Mr Ralph, a friendly gentleman and we spoke for a good 20 mins... Will certainly make a return stay soon... Thanks to all the hotel staff for the great hospitality, see you guys soon, cheers!

Spacious, clean serviced apartments near Metro and Big C Supermarket

Spent a week in 2 different apartments of united residence, ,Apartments were equipped with all you need for long stay , staff were so friendly and helpful , the manager was extremely nice, rooms were super clean and spotless , comfortable beds and nice balconies. Rooftop Gym was good size, check in/out were so quick, already booked this hotel for next month , can’t fault it

Quiet & comfortable

My wife & I stayed here for 3 months whilst our condo was being finished. The residences are modern and well maintained. About a 25 minute walk to Ekamai BTS though. Everything necessary is provided whether for short term or long term rental, including plates and cutlery. Reasonable restaurants nearby. The staff make you feel welcome and any issues are quickly resolved. Security is by keycard for entry to the condo or the main entrance. A really secure place.

Nice, clean, with a complete facilities hotel with reasonable price and friendly staffs

Had 3 nights stay there during our trip to Thailand and we were disappointed! Disappointed because we didn't spent all of our stays during our trip in Bangkok in this nice hotel :( I have too many good things to say about this hotel. We were having a very good deal for a clean, complete facilities, friendly staffs, nice service, even free coffee corner with a valued for money room rate! Another thing we love is, they had washing machine in the rooms! We were so happy since it means that you don't need to bring so many clothes in your luggage and just prepare to shop a lot while you're in Bangkok ;) We really enjoyed all of the service, they were very welcome in responding our questions by email before we came there. Welcoming us warmly during our check in and check out, helping us with luggage keeping, helping us to call a taxi, even giving suggestions for places to visit! That really means a lot for travellers like us :) Last but not least, I would highly highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family for their stays in Bangkok. And wish to stay here again for my next visit :) Keep up the good work, Ralph and Team! Thank you!

Home Away From Home

It was a splendid retreat at United Residence, much more that i had expected. Clean comfortable secure and a very cozy and friendly ambience. Fantastic Property. Exceptional Staff.

My wife and I stayed 6 nights @ United Residence to recuperate after her surgery. We specifically selected the property because it appeared spacious, new and clean. We opted for the 1 bedroom unit and were not disappointed. The unit itself was very spacious. Cleaning service was provided daily. The entire staff from front desk (Tip), security guard (A), manager (Rav) and the cleaning crew were so friendly and on it. Several times I would ask the front desk for something and 60 seconds later someone would be knocking on the door to deliver it. Exceptional service. And a quiet location. Can't say enough good things about this property. Only downside, as mentioned in other reviews, is the location is a bit of a walk from the BTS station. But, a 6 minute taxi ride will get you there no problems. THANK YOU United Residence for a wonderful stay. Oh, BTW, I used their rooftop gym 4 or 5 times. Its quite nice. Has A/C and TV with great views.

5* Stay!

United Residence offers a luxurious stay in Bangkok! It's a taxi trip away from the centre but taxis aren't expensive so as long as you don't mind a 15minute journey this really is a great place to stay if you need some luxury! The staff at the front desk, including security, are very welcoming and were always very helpful if we had queries. The apartment building has all of the services you could need for varied lengths of stay - gym / washing machine in room/ breakfast table in room / full sized fridge balcony/ spacious bathroom/ large cupboard... Highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting bangkok. We would definitely return if we come back to Bangkok again

Just like home but with five star service

I came to bangkok for surgery and for the first 2 weeks my mum and her partner came and the last 2 weeks my partner came. I rented the one bedroom unit at a monthly rate and it was an extremely reasonable price given the high prices of other serviced apartments in the area. The service was amazing, you are left alone enough that it feels like a home away from home but there is always a helping hand in reception if needed. The owner/manager is a really friendly man and will do what he can to make your stay comfortable and very easy to speak to. The best part is the guards out the front, they are so friendly and will help you get a taxi for travellers not used to busy bangkok and how the culture works here. Staff don't all speak english but there is usually someone who can or you can find translation apps to help. The apartment has a washing machine and enough dishes for 2 people but if your thinking of home cooking you will need to grab some pots and pans. It's bangkok through you shouldn't need to :) All in all an amazing experience, if i am ever back in bangkok id stay here again. the one Bedroom rooms are spacious and modern with a comfortable clean feel. they even have a gym upstairs for those interested. Id also suggest emailing directly for bookings they are so helpful and it's usually cheaper then 3rd party sites.

Beautiful, amazing and incredible!

Absolutely love this place, beautiful and clean room, beautiful views and even more beautiful people, the staff, cleaners and the security guard made our stay fantastic, such caring people. A security guard is their 24/7, which made it feel very safe. The wifi connection was amazing. The security guard went and hailed a taxi off the street for us, he made sure he opened and closed the door for us every time we left and entered. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place! A lot of people have commented on not being able to get BTS from where the hotel is located, we got taxi's/Uber's everywhere and it was no more then 100 baht, very cheap! All around, love this place and will definitely be back! Thank you to all the lovely staff who made our trip fantastic and easy!

Small family atmosphere hotel with the service of a 5-star hotel

An insufficiently known hotel cum serviced apartment situated in the heart of Thonglor/Ekamai posh area, this hotel provides an undisputed top quality service together with a very familial spirit. It is located on soi ekamai 26, so just very near to the main Ekamai road, but far away enough that you are not disturbed by the traffic. Upon initial contact, they were kind enough to show me a room while I had not warned of my coming, and thereafter, Mr. Ralph and his front desk staff called me to make sure of my interest and the beginning of my reservation. Mr. Ralph, the manager of the hotel runs a very tight ship where the hotel is kept in top shape, with a discrete but tasteful decoration, but he managed to associate that to a real family spirit among his staff. Service is top-notch, from cleaning to reception, and you have the feeling people are working together to make the hotel feel feel more like a family pension. Despite this, smile and welcome are at the highest level I experienced for a long time in Thailand, even in 5-star hotels... Probably because they are very genuine in this place. Cleanliness is impeccable and the maids will even take the pain of arranging your luggage for you at times. I was there with my 80-yr old father for one month, and I must say that I was amazed from beginning to end with the care they took looking over my father during the time I was away for business. I also never failed to be warmly welcomed anytime we came back, even by the entrance guards (who are probably some of the nicest and caring guards in Thailand)! It is rare to find such uniformity in kindness and service, but Mr. Ralph managed a real performance in hiring and retaining such amazing personnel (but then, he sets the example himself as well). The hotel may seem tiny from the outside, but it still has 8 floors and even a garage to park your car and a fitness centre. It is a lovely place altogether and an excellent choice whenever you need to work or stay for a long period in Bangkok (shorter periods too, BTW!). Breakfast, while limited to congee is pretty good and nourishing for a rather low price (100 THB). I think it is hard to do better than this in terms of full service. Wifi is free and pretty fast, TV has several channels; both Thai, Chinese, Japanese and US, but at times can be capricious (you then only get Japanese channels to watch). Price-wise and for a long stay, this is probably one of the best options in Bangkok, as 22 K THB is unbeatable for a whole month stay. Even a studio is equipped with a washing machine, microwave and cutlery, enough to help you survive over a long stay. If pre-cooked food is not to your liking (there is a 7/11 just around the corner on Ekamai), you can hit one of the local roadside places (pad thai ekamai to recommend, among others). Several coffee places in the area, some roadside restaurants , and if you prefer more sophisticated (or not!) food, you are just a short walk (or taxi ride) away from Ekamai Big C and its restaurants or Thonglor J-Avenue.

Excellent Value - Although not close to CBD

Ralph and the Staff are 10 out of 10!! The Studio apartment was really good for our 17 day stay although I have made a few simple suggestions for improving the stay for guests who stay a little longer than a weekend. Choice of TV channels for English speaking guests is rather limited although the unlimited WiFi access is good. Perhaps by having a Chrome Cast or EZcast available on request would broaden the in-room TV ability. Although close to the Thong Lo area of glitzy restaurants, there are plenty of local eateries nearby, especially if you take a short walk of 5 minutes towards the canal (opposite way to the BTS) you will find lots of stalls selling fresh fruits, freshly cooked foods of all kinds. If you get the urge for some English/American type food, then simply look for your nearest "Foodland" supermarket where they have a restaurant attached that is open 24/7 and the prices are really reasonable especially with the Happy Hour breakfast from 7.30am -9.30am. There is a Foodland near United Residence which is no more than a 10 minute walk across the canal, just use Google Maps and no problems at all. For transportation we always caught a taxi from the main street down to the BTS/Sky Rail (50 Baht) and used the BTS to get to most destinations. For long stay necessities we shopped at the Big C, which is between United Residence and the BTS, otherwise the corner 7/11 was handy.
